Getting Started & Your First Class
You will learn basic stances and simple movements at your own comfortable pace following a light warm-up. There is no experience or sparring expected—our safe environment is simply designed to get you moving and having fun!
Yes — and you should! Your first class is on us, no strings attached. Sign up online or give us a call to book your visit.
We recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled class time. This gives us a chance to tour the facility, introduce you to the instructor, and ensure you are perfectly set up and comfortable before hitting the mat!
Athletic clothes and a water bottle. That’s it. We’ll handle everything else. If you decide to stick around, we’ll fill you in on uniforms and gear then.
For your trial lesson, just wear comfortable athletic clothing (like a T-shirt and leggings or jogging pants). If you decide to join, we will provide you with a traditional uniform (dobok) to wear during official training sessions.
Honestly? That’s kind of the whole point. Martial Arts is one of the best things for building confidence and coordination in kids — regardless of where they’re starting from. Our coaches are experienced working with all kinds of personalities. Shy, awkward, and uncoordinated are all welcome here.

Programs, Style & Curriculum
We offer classes for students as young as 3 years old, all the way through adult programs. Our classes are broken down into age-appropriate groups to ensure the best learning environment.
We specialize in traditional Tae Kwon Do and focus on discipline, fitness, and self-defense.
While we teach the high-energy kicking Taekwondo is famous for, our adult curriculum is heavily integrated with practical street self-defense. We go beyond tournament rules to teach you how to handle real-world situations, including grab releases, situational awareness, and close-quarters tactics.
We use a structured, step-by-step curriculum that safely guides students from day one all the way to Black Belt and beyond. Our programs are tailored by age and experience level to maximize both technical skill and personal growth.
Promotions here are based on skill, not how long you’ve been showing up. When you’re ready to level up, just ask your coach what to focus on next — there’s no mystery, no politics, just honest feedback and a clear path forward.
On average, it takes 3 to 4 years of consistent training (2–3 times per week). However, a Black Belt isn’t a destination—it’s a milestone. We focus on the “small wins” at every belt color to keep students motivated and engaged throughout their journey.
Schedules, Pricing & Memberships
We offer evening classes every weekday, Monday through Friday!
Because our programs are customized to each student’s age, goals, and schedule, tuition varies. We offer flexible membership tiers based on how many days a week you’d like to train.
We believe in 100% transparency and hate surprise fees as much as you do. You will receive a complete, upfront tuition guide—detailing everything from monthly dues to uniform costs—during your free trial lesson.
We believe our quality of instruction is what keeps our students coming back, not a legal document. While we offer a variety of enrollment options, we provide flexible terms because we want you to be here because you love the training.
Yes, we do! We offer special rates for multiple family members training at our school.
No problem! We offer make-up classes throughout the week. Just check with the front desk or message us to find a time that works for your schedule.
To cancel or pause your membership, please call or email the front desk. We kindly ask for at least 30 days notice.

Safety, Location & Special Programs
Our school is located at 300 Black Belt World Dr. #101, Knightdale, NC 27545. We’re right the McDonald’s, with plenty of parking available.
Safety is our #1 priority. All classes are supervised by certified instructors who emphasize control and proper technique. For our youth programs, we focus on non-contact fundamentals first. For adults, we use a “partnership” mindset—we train with each other, not against each other.
Once students reach a certain level and begin controlled sparring, they’ll need approved safety gear. We’ll let you know when it’s time to purchase equipment.
We do! Our martial arts birthday parties are a blast — complete with fun games, board breaking, and a mini lesson. Best of all, we handle the setup and cleanup. Contact us to check available dates!
We observe major holidays and follow local school closures for inclement weather. In the event of a closure or important announcement, we will instantly notify you via email, our social media channels, and our community Discord server. We recommend opting into text notifications during registration so you never miss a real-time update.
